This is a classic Amethyst from the old-time locality of Porkura (Vălişoara), Hunedoara, Romania. The crystals on this cluster are a brilliant, deep violet at their cores with clear terminations. There is some small damage on a few of the crystals, but this cluster remains a really incredible representative of Romania's historic gold-mining district.
