This Amethyst specimen has an excellent deep hue, with the darkest purple concentrated at the crystal terminations. The classic Hematite-rich appearance of Thunder Bay Amethyst is more understated here, with some rust-orange surface deposits and the tell-tale red speckling focused at a few crystal points.
